Dear St. Mark Parishioner,
As we begin a new fiscal year on July 1, 2011, St. Mark Parish introduces a new Online Giving option to you. As technology progresses in the world around us, more and more businesses and institutions are utilizing the computer to transact both business and charitable payments. St. Mark Parish now joins this trend by making Online Giving available to you.
Following the study and advice of our Parish Council, we have chosen Our Sunday Visitor, Inc. as our Online Giving provider. Our Sunday Visitor already provides the Sunday envelopes that so many of you use and now this new option is possible through their services. This company has been in existence for 99 years and in addition to their offertory services, Our Sunday Visitor is a leader in the field of Catholic publishing, bringing to the Catholic faithful a variety of spiritual books and magazines. Furthermore, Our Sunday Visitor is a not-for-profit organization, donating their earnings back to Catholic charitable causes. Finally OSV has investigated this technology thoroughly and has in place the highest of security standards. Your identity and your money will be safe.
Online Giving offers many benefits to our parish and to you.
Many people in our parish already use the computer for all their banking business and to pay many of their bills. Online Giving will allow you the chance to make an offering of thanks to God by using the same technology. Consider this option for you and your family. Pray to God about it. Visit our parish website at www.stmarkstl.com for more information or to enroll.
Yours in Christ
