prayer hotline
|
|
| |
The Prayer Hotline began in September of 2003. It consists of 110 individuals, who are divided into three teams. When we receive an URGENT call (ex. – surgery, ICU, serious accident, Cancer or other serious health diagnosis), one team is called on a rotating basis. We pray for the individual/s (parishioner, their family member or friend) for one week. In the future, our teams will be asked to keep all the individuals on our request list in a general daily prayer (ex. “Dear God, continue to heal & comfort anyone still in need of our prayers and Your help, Amen!”) |

| HOSPITALITY MINISTERS |
| This is often the first person you see when arriving at Church. A person's impression of a Parish may be significantly shaped by the presence of a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to welcoming people, the duties include seating them if church is crowded, taking up the collection, guiding the communion procession and distributing the bulletin after Mass. High school age and above are encouraged to become Hospitality Ministers. Call Jim Moore at 544-3572. |

| SENIOR MINISTRY |
| This ministry is still in its beginning stages of development. It has a three-fold emphasis: · that all homebound of the parish will be visited by someone from the parish; · that the elderly of St. Mark Parish have access to needed transportation. · That the senior members of the parish could have access to help for small repairs. For this to happen, we need volunteers. If you would like to be involved, please call the Parish Office at 743-8600. |
